Terms of Use

These terms (Terms) apply whenever you access the Wazza website or chat interface (the Service), regardless of how you do so. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Operator

The Service is operated by Matt Jones (Wazza, we, us) based in Sydney, Australia.

2. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change has been posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

3. The Service is information only — not advice

Content on Wazza is prepared as general information only. It is not financial, investment, or gambling advice and should not be substituted for personal advice that takes into account your individual financial circumstances. You are solely responsible for your betting decisions and any losses you incur.

4. Predictions and accuracy

Predictions, ratings and analysis on the Service are generated by a statistical model combined with an AI chat interface. Past model performance does not guarantee future results. Content is provided to you “as is” and on an “as available” basis on the condition that you undertake all responsibility for assessing the accuracy of the content and rely on it at your own risk.

5. AI and your data

Wazza's chat interface is powered by Claude, an AI service operated by Anthropic, PBC. When you chat with Wazza, your messages, profile, betting history and other data we hold about you may be sent to Anthropic for processing in the United States so that Anthropic can generate responses. By using the chat you consent to this processing. Full details of what we send, store, and share are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your account and your data

If you upload betting statements or other personal data to the Service, you grant Wazza a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that data solely to:

  1. personalise predictions, ratings and recommendations shown to you;
  2. calculate your personal performance metrics;
  3. generate AI chat responses you request; and
  4. improve our underlying prediction models in aggregate and anonymised form.

We do not sell or rent your bet history. We do not share it with bookmakers or marketers. Anthropic is the only third party that ever sees it, and only when chat processing requires it.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service in any unlawful way. In particular, you must not:

  1. access, collect, scrape, text- or data-mine any content from the Service by automated means (whether by robot, spider, script, service, software, or any manual or automatic device, tool or process), other than through the MCP and chat interfaces we expressly provide;
  2. use any content from the Service for any machine learning or artificial intelligence purpose, including developing, building, training, fine-tuning, grounding or otherwise using content in large language models, machine learning systems, or generative AI systems;
  3. frame, scrape, reproduce, republish, redistribute or commercially exploit any predictions or analysis provided by the Service;
  4. circumvent any access restrictions or rate limits on the Service;
  5. submit, upload, or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful to others.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, the model outputs, the codebase, and the Wazza brand are owned by us or our licensors. You receive no transfer of those rights by using the Service. You may view, download and use predictions and content for your own personal, non-commercial reference only.

9. Service availability

We may alter, suspend or discontinue the Service or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such alteration, suspension or discontinuation.

10. Liability and limitation

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Subject to that:

  1. we do not warrant the accuracy of content you access through the Service. All content is provided “as is” and your reliance on it is at your own risk;
  2. we will have no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage you incur (including gambling losses, lost profits, or damage to your software or hardware) arising from your use of or access to the Service, except where that loss or damage is due to our negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud;
  3. we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by asking Wazza to “forget me” in chat or by emailing hello@wazza.racing.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts of appeal from them.
