What is Wazza, in one sentence?
Wazza is a personalised Australian horse-racing prediction service — a statistical model plus an AI chat that knows you, knows the racing, and tells you where it thinks the bookies have it wrong.
Does Wazza take bets or process money?
No. Wazza never takes a bet, holds funds, or sends bets to a bookmaker. We provide predictions and analysis only — you place your own bets through whatever bookie you choose.
How does Wazza pick winners?
Wazza uses an Explainable Boosting Machine (EBM) trained on twelve months of Australian racing data. The model considers about a dozen factors per runner — class, recent form, jockey/trainer combinations, weather, going, barrier, weight, market signals, and more — then re-trains itself every night at 4am AEST so today's data informs tomorrow's picks.
Why does Wazza skip some races?
Races with patchy bookmaker odds coverage (less than 80% of runners with prices) get skipped — without market signal the model loses too much edge. Wazza also skips trials and jump-outs.
How fresh is the data?
Field, weather and going updates come through within a few minutes of being published. Odds are sampled at ~5-minute intervals during race hours from commercial data feeds. It is not real-time bookmaker quotes — for that, check the bookie.
What happens to my bet history when I upload it?
Uploaded bet statements are parsed and stored against your account so Wazza can calculate your personal ROI, find your strongest betting dimensions, and tailor recommendations to what you actually win at. We don't share, sell or rent your bet history. The only third party that ever sees it is Anthropic (Claude) — but only when you ask Wazza a chat question that requires that context. Full detail on the Privacy page.
How do I delete my data?
Type “forget me” to Wazza in chat — that triggers a full account + data wipe. Alternatively, email hello@wazza.racing and we'll do it within 7 days. Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days.
Is Wazza guaranteed to win me money?
No. Nothing on this site guarantees a return. Models that look brilliant on yesterday’s data can have a quiet month. Wazza shows you what its model predicts and the reasoning behind it — the decision to back a runner, and the consequences, are entirely yours.
How do I connect Wazza to Claude or ChatGPT directly?
Sign in, then visit the “Connect AI” menu item — you'll get a one-time setup link that registers Wazza as an MCP server in your Claude or ChatGPT client. After that you can just chat to Wazza inside your usual AI app and he'll have all your context, picks and history available as tools.
How much does Wazza cost?
Free while in development. If we ever add a paid tier, current users will be told well in advance.
I think Wazza got something wrong — what now?
Genuinely useful. Tell Wazza in chat — he records feedback against the relevant pick — or email hello@wazza.racing with what happened.
